Piper went on her first school date dance with Lance tonight. Hyrum went to a “hoedown” with Holly Meyer.  Havala and Maia enjoyed having Olivia and Ian Myles over to play. Dad DID Piper’s hair…kudos to him!!  He is amazing at holding down the fort. I couldn’t have asked for a better match.  I really appreciate him–his humor, resilience, perspective, faith and hope.  He is a good man, even if we drive each other crazy sometimes, lol.

I need to record this, I feel. Tova and Ben lost their first little one at 12 weeks in her womb. It was super sad and hard. They had seen the little one alive and well several times through sonograms. I was able to fly out to be with them. I am sad for the lost little one, sad for Tova, for Ben. It's just a hard thing.
